Name: Madame Sylvie Brabant Ghanem, Owner & Director

Grade/Subject: Grades K-12 as well as French for Adults. Specializing in French as a second language.

Introduction: Madame Ghanem (née Brabant) is Canadian Francophone, received her Elementary and High School education at the private Parisian school Lycée Claudel in Ottawa (Brevet des collèges), has a University Baccalaureate and is an experienced French tutor that has been tutoring French for many years. 

She has taught adults French as second & third language classes at inlingua Victoria, was a grade 12 Panel Judge for the Cumulative Project required for graduation at the Lake Washington School District (Washington USA) and a Panel Judge for Concours d'art oratoire presented by Canadian Parent For French nationally (Victoria BC Canada).

Presently is a registered tutor at St Michael's University private school and at St Margaret's School (SMS). Her clients range from Medical Doctors (MD, Forensic Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychiatrist), Judges, company Directors, Professionals, Moms at home, French Immersion teachers, Seniors, elementary/high school and University students (Camosun, University of Victoria).

 She has a strong background in many languages at a University level which includes Spanish, German and Arabic. From tutoring students in Ottawa, Vienna, Seattle and now Victoria, Madame Ghanem believes that private tutoring should be a wonderful experience for the student and will tailor the sessions to the needs of each student to ensure he/she gets best value out of the lessons. That also allows for best long term retention of the material learned.
